El 18 de Marzo el Instituto Técnico de Capacitación (INTECAP) inauguró 2 nuevas instalaciones siendo una de ellas, el Centro de Capacitación  en Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones, ubicado junto a la sede del Intecap en la zona 4 de la Ciudad. Este es el primer  instituto de esta especialidad tanto en Centroamérica como en el Caribe. También se ha inaugurado un Taller Automotriz de Intecap, en la zona 18 capitalina. Ambas son puertas para la capacitación de la población guatemalteca. Por poner a disposición del guatemalteco tecnologías de vanguardia mundial como contribución para el desarrollo productivo del país, decimos bien hecho.
