Periodistas de diversos medios de comunicación asistieron al seminario internacional “La cobertura periodística de los delitos contra el medio ambiente” organizado y becado por la Sociedad Interamericana de Prensa (SIP), el seminario con una duración de 2 días amplió el debate desde una óptica periodística sobre el calentamiento global, el medio ambiente, delitos ambientales y el cambio climático que se cierne actualmente sobre los recursos naturales de Guatemala.

El evento fue dirigido por el director de la SIP, Ricardo Trotti, quien presentó durante el seminario a un grupo de expertos internacionales y nacionales, entre ellos, Cecilia Navarro de Greenpeace-México; la Asociación Iberoamericana para la Defensa del Ambiente (AIDA); Acción Ecológica del Ecuador; consultores de la Organización Mundial de Conservación, Puerto Rico; Defensores de la Naturaleza, Guatemala y la participación del Dr. Luis Ferraté, Ministro de Ambiente. Por impulsar la investigación periodística enfocada en el medio ambiente le decimos a la SIP: ¡Bien hecho!
